✨Double room available in Brixton from 5th March.

I’ve been living in this flat for almost 5 years, and my current flatmate is moving out so I’m looking for someone warm, friendly, relaxed, clean and tidy to take this room.

Rent for this room is currently £885 pcm (which will likely increase slightly around April/May). Bills are around £175 pcm which includes council tax, gas/electric, internet and TV license (this may change slightly from April due to a council tax increase). Water is paid every 6 months, which came to roughly £150 each for the latest bill. A deposit of £875 and registration fee of £50 for the tenancy change will also apply.

A bright and spacious double bedroom in a maisonette flat in Brixton, just by Brockwell Park. The flat originally came barely furnished, so the room comes with a wardrobe only; there’s plenty of space for a double bed, desk and chair set-up and storage units. On the first floor there is a living room, separate kitchen and bathroom, with the bedrooms being on the floor above. We also have shared access to a small garden at the back of the property.

Location - Brixton. A 12-minute walk to Brixton tube, and roughly the same time to Herne Hill station in the other direction. There's a large Sainsbury's a 2-minute walk away, and plenty of pubs and cafes within walking distance with all the vibes of central Brixton being very close.

About me - I'm Holly, 34 and a Client Services professional mostly hybrid working, so currently three WFH days per week then in the office for the other two, or out and about otherwise.

🪩I’m a warm, social and friendly person looking for both a new friend as well as a new flatmate. I’m looking for someone who’s in a similar place as me, so a similar age, a professional woman who wants to hang out together, whilst having home as a peaceful place to relax.

🏃🏻‍I’m very active so enjoy the gym and playing sport, exploring London, hot holidays and love a pub quiz now and then.

📝The room will be available from 5th March, whilst a move in date could work out better logistically over the weekend of 7th March; there’s flexibility here. I’m wanting to sort out all the paperwork ASAP, so I’m planning to meet people for a chat and to view the flat over the next couple of weeks.
