The Vibe & About Us
Hi! We’re George and Harry. We met on this page last year when we were looking to move into a queer household. We wanted a mature living space that respects boundaries and personal space, while still having a welcoming communal area for socialising. We believe we’ve created that, and with our current flatmate moving out, we’re looking for someone new to join us.

We aren't a "party house" and aren't looking for someone who brings the party home. That said, we love queer spaces and enjoy dancing on the weekends, but we’re always respectful when coming back. We enjoy getting lost in the choice paradox of Now TV, the occasional games night, and hanging out in the kitchen/living area. We're looking for a queer man who is clean, tidy, and independent, but open to socialising as flatmates and, hopefully, eventually friends.

The Room 🛏️
Bright, furnished double room with a small double bed and a spacious built-in wardrobe.

The Flat🏡
Living Space: Open-plan kitchen and living room (the heart of the flat).

Storage: Entrance hallway with space for bike storage, plus communal storage cupboards.

Bathroom: One shared bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Comfort: Very well-insulated (perfect for winter) and located in a quiet residential area.

Note: The flat is accessed via a flight of stairs and does not have a garden.

The Area & Travel 🚗🏙️
Brixton has everything you could need! We have Sainsbury’s, Lidl, M&S Foodhall, and Tesco all within walking distance. There are loads of eateries, bars, and markets (including Brixton Village), plus the Brixton Recreation Centre for the gym/pool. We have Brockwell Park a stone's throw away for when you need to "hug some trees."

Brixton Tube (Victoria Line): 10–15 min walk (Night Tube is a lifesaver!).

Clapham North (Northern Line): Easy walk or quick bus ride away.

Safety: The walk home from the tube is safe and well-lit.

The Admin 🗂️
Our landlady requires a standard reference check. To pass this, you’ll likely need proof of income/employment and a previous landlord reference. We’ll meet for a viewing/chat first, and if we’re all a good match, we’ll put you forward to the landlady to start the referencing

Who you’ll be living with:

Harry (He/Him)
Hi, I am Harry. I moved to London 4.5 years ago and work in mental health with ambitions to train in psychotherapy. I love deep conversations, tinnies in the sun, forest walks, pond swimming, art galleries, dance shows, and saying yes to any mini-adventure or new “hobby” attempt in London. Raves, queer or otherwise, are also a special place for me - I love to dance. I value community and autonomy in the shared space - just know that if you ever need a chat or hug, I am your man. I also love nothing more than a gossip at the kitchen table as long as it’s not my drama. Can’t wait to meet you!

George: (He/Him)
Hello. My name is George and I've been living in London on and off for around 10 years. I work for a youth counselling service as a Peer Support Worker. In my free time I like pretending I'm Spider-Man (on the PlayStation), reading, cycling, yoga, and dancing in queer spaces. I love travelling, being out in nature, and I’d like to explore more of the city. I’m keen to find a new flatmate to have good conversations with whilst doing the kitchen tango as we all try to use the stove.

If this all sounds like a bit of you, feel free to drop us a message and if we vibe, we can can arrange a viewing.
