Cosy Double Room in spacious, bright Brixton flat

I have a beautiful little second double bedroom in my flat in Brixton and I’m looking for a flatmate as soon as possible.

The flat is a gorgeous Victorian flat with the original hardwood floors and lots of light. The living room has a lovely dining room table for dinner parties or life admin and horrendously comfortable sofas for friends to stay.

The rent is £1000 p/m + £150.00 bills or £1150 total all included.

The room itself is a cosy double but with a spacious living room where you can WFH and a beautiful kitchen, it doesn’t feel small.

With the Victoria line a short walk or quick bus ride away there’s easy access to all of London and more immediately Brockwell Park is a 15 min walk with Herne Hill only a little further. There's also a 24 hour gym 50m down the hill, and a big Sainsbury's, Big Tescos and Big Lidl all within walking distance as well as a little shop just next to the flat itself.

I’ve recently moved in and everything has just been upgraded - new mattresses/ fridge/ electrics/ freshly painted etc. There’s parking for bikes and the possibility of a parking space can be discussed with the landlord.
The only important thing to note is that the flat is on the fifth floor of a building with no lifts so unfortunately it’s not accessibility friendly but it has lovely views of the London skyline!

A little about me - I’m a teaching chef at a cookery school and so I work mixed hours throughout the week and weekend (so If you do WFH I largely won’t be around and the place is very quiet).

When I am home, I love to host dinner parties and just chill with everyone, sketch people across London and explore local wine bars. I’m very chill and looking for someone who wants to feel at home rather than just space sharing.
