We have a lovely double room with its own private bathroom available in our beautifully refurbished flat in Clapham Park.

The whole flat has been redesigned and renovated to a very high standard and is modern, bright and very well maintained.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you need, and the property has been completely redecorated with modern flooring and finishes throughout.

Everything is kept clean and tidy, with a cleaner visiting once a week to clean all the communal areas.

Location

The flat is in Clapham Park (SW2 4LX), in a really convenient South London location between Brixton, Clapham and Streatham Hill – giving you easy access to all three areas and their excellent transport links.

There are several bus stops just a couple of minutes' walk from the flat, with excellent connections towards Brixton, Clapham, Streatham and Central London.

Streatham Hill railway station is also within easy reach, providing direct train connections towards Central London, while Clapham Common and Clapham South Underground stations provide access to the Northern line. Brixton and its Victoria line connections are also easily accessible by bus.

The location is particularly good if you enjoy having plenty to do nearby. Brixton offers a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, cafés, markets and nightlife; Clapham has its popular cafés, restaurants, pubs and the open green space of Clapham Common; while Streatham Hill provides a great range of everyday shops, cafés and local amenities.

Despite having all of these areas within easy reach, the flat itself is away from the busiest town-centre streets – so you can enjoy the convenience of South London while still having a comfortable place to come home to.

Food shopping couldn't be easier, with a Tesco Express just two minutes from the front door and a larger Sainsbury's only a few minutes further away.

The Room & Private Bathroom

The double bedroom comes fully furnished with everything shown in the photographs, including good-quality bedroom furniture.

A particularly great feature of this room is that it comes with its own private bathroom, for your exclusive use.

The bathroom is not en-suite, but is located immediately adjacent to the bedroom, so you have all the convenience and privacy of having your own bathroom without having to share it with the other flatmates.

This is a five-bedroom flat, so you would be sharing the property with four other flatmates. The current flatmates are all male working professionals, aged 22, 30, 30 and 31.

The flat would ideally suit a non-smoking professional or international student looking for a clean, comfortable and well-maintained home in London.

Please note that the room is for single occupancy only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept couples.

Rent & Bills

The rent is £275 per week (£1,191.67 per calendar month) and includes:

Gas
Electricity
Water
Council Tax
Fast wireless broadband
Weekly cleaning of the communal areas

There are no additional household bills to pay.

The total deposit is equivalent to four weeks' rent (£1,100) and will be protected through the government-backed Deposit Protection Service (DPS).

To reserve the room, you would initially pay £275, equivalent to one week's rent. One day before you move in, you would then pay:

£825 – the remaining three weeks of the deposit
£1,191.67 – your first month's rent in advance

So, to summarise:

To reserve the room: £275
One day before move-in: £2,016.67 (£825 remaining deposit + £1,191.67 first month's rent)

Length of Stay

The minimum stay is one month, and we require one month's notice when you decide to leave.

Your deposit will be held in the government-backed Deposit Protection Service (DPS).
