Lovely Double Room off Broadway Market

Daniel and Chris here, looking for a new flatmate to join our 3 bedroom flat just moments from Broadway Market and Regent's Canal (3-minute walk!)

Daniel has lived here for two years and works as a manager for a magazine. Chris moved in earlier this year and works as a yoga instructor.

We’re both gay/queer men and open to living with someone of any gender or sexuality.

The flat is a 5-minute stroll to London Fields and about 15 minutes to Victoria Park — ideal for weekend walks, runs, or park hangs.

The Room

A bright, comfortable double with plenty of space. Room includes; desk, wardrobe, double bed and shelves.

We’ll also be arranging a cleaner for the communal areas, which will come to around £20 per person every other week — helping keep things fresh and low-stress.

Transport-wise, we’re close to Haggerston station and Cambridge Heath station, plus Bethnal Green station (Central Line) is about a 17-minute walk. There’s a Sainsbury's nearby and a larger Lidl within 15 minutes.

The Vibe

We’re a social flat, not a party flat. We enjoy the odd pub trip together, shared meals, and social gatherings outside of the flat — but we value a calm, tidy home during the week.

Daniel manages the flat and bills directly and maintains a good relationship with the landlord, so everything runs smoothly (no agencies involved).

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to make this a home, not just rent a room — someone considerate, communicative, and happy to be part of a warm, friendly household.

• £1050 rent + around £110 bills
• Cleaner: £20 per person every other week
• Deposit: one month’s rent
