Room available in friendly Haggerston house

Ahoy hoy,

Our lovely housemate is tragically moving out of London, so we're on the lookout for an equally good or better replacement.

Let's get the bad/standard London renting bit out of the way - the room is a single, with a double bed squeezed into it - it is a bright, south facing room though. The rent is £637.50 a month plus bills (the heating is currently free, council tax band D), deposit £500. The room is available on the 5/6th of October.

So that's the boring bit over with, now for the good bits. The house has nice, big, sunny communal lounge, an okay sized kitchen, a bathroom with a decent shower, and a little sun trap of a garden (where you can smoke if you want). It's in what I think is the perfect location. We're on a quiet pedestrianised road a stone's throw from the canal. Haggerston Overground, London Fields and Broadway Market are all a 5-10 minute walk away. Shoreditch, Dalston, Hoxton and Hackney are also within walking distance. Also, it's a cosy warm house.

We're a friendly bunch and do enjoy the occasional night out together, though this being London we're annoying booked up doing other stuff most of the time. But we still find time to watch a movie and catch-up when we can. We're looking for a housemate who's sociable, not just someone what wants a room to crash in. People who are fun, but also clean and considerate. Basically, people who like living in a shared house, and don't just do it because it's the only affordable way to live in London.
