My current lodger is sadly moving out so I am looking for someone part-time to move into the second bedroom of my lovely flat.. I would love to welcome a woman, preferably aged 30 or over, who is perhaps only coming into the London office/university during the week following the pandemic.

The room is furnished with a small double/three quarter size bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, standing lamp and a vast walk-in wardrobe/storage space with a rail which you will be able to leave your belongings in when not here.

I have also now put curtains up; do message and I can send you more recent pictures.

You will be able to use wifi, and I will wash your sheets once every fortnight if you'd like. You can leave your toiletries and belongings here over the weekend.

You would be sharing the bathroom and downstairs space (spacious open plan kitchen and living room) with me. I'm 35 and work in the media team of a busy NGO, currently working between home and the office. I enjoy socialising/going out, cooking for friends, cycling, yoga, reading, theatre, music and am also very happy curled up with a good series or film. If we lived together I'm sure there might be some evenings where we could spend time together having dinner or watching TV or catching up, but equally I'm quite busy and am often out in the evenings. You would be very welcome to use the kitchen to cook and I would clear a cupboard and fridge space for you.

I can happily take on responsibility of doing thorough cleaning of the flat but would expect you to clean up after yourself in communal areas and keep your room tidy. I also like things to be quiet on weeknights so would want to live with someone who respects that too and doesn't have loads of friends over late etc.

Please note this price includes bills and council tax.

Brockley is a beautiful green area - I have a park around the corner, there are some really nice bars, restaurants and cafes, and Lewisham, New Cross and Deptford are nearby. The estate I live on is very friendly, safe and leafy. My balcony flat overlooks a quiet leafy cul-de-sac.
