Large double room available in a light, nicely decorated, 2 bedroom flat. Lived in, but clean and cared for, with ample storage space available in the cellar, and a small slice of sunny garden, to enjoy in warmer weather.

The property takes advantage of a fantastic location, with access to parks and a tremendous view from Telegraph Hill within walking distance, as well as a variety of shops, restaurants and drinking spots (if that’s your thing!). Access to the overground via Nunhead (approx. 10 mins), Brockley (5 mins), and a short walk to New Cross Gate (10 mins), as well as plenty of buses.

Looking for an easy- going, respectful person to share the space, with a (mostly) quiet ‘writerly’ type, whose enjoyments include cooking and the arts, who- while a little aloof, remains perfectly amiable. Particularly suited to professionals, who like plants and aren’t put off by the possibility of friendly visitors making occasional social calls, or the possible prospect of paint smells and (likely) unusual music emanating from the other room; ideally someone who might enjoy a more relaxed and communal vibe, as well as the local amenities.

Possibly open to negotiating the period, but available from now, until some time in mid September- though there may be a possibility for longer- while one half of the house is away.

Currently on a rolling contract, so would maybe suit someone who is looking for a comfortable spot to stay, in between more permanent housing. Happy to discuss the details with anyone who might be considering!
