Description
Small double room in a small bright first floor two bed flat on a busy road on the Brockley/New Cross/Deptford border, available from 23/11 for short term let (1 week - 2-3 months max). Suitable for someone looking for a stop gap to help with looking for long term places - I'm not looking for the room to be rented long term at the moment so I can be flexible with lengths of stay and move in dates.
Viewings can be flexible
Rent: 700pcm including bills
Deposit: Negotiable - depends on the length of stay, nil if shorter than 2 weeks
About the room
Small double room furnished with a small double (3/4) bed with ottoman storage under the bed and an ikea wall mounted storage system wardrobe. A blank canvas at the moment.
The room is small and wouldn't comfortably fit a desk so I would say it's not suitable for WFH
Small window and the room is located next to the bathroom, away from the living room, kitchen and other bedroom (floor plan attached)
The flat is on a main road that serves 4 buses and 2 night buses so there is some traffic noise but generally not too disruptive as the room is on the quieter side of the flat furthest from the main road.
About the flat
Small two bed split level first floor flat, the flat also has a third small room that I use as a study
Some features of the flat:
- Open plan living room and kitchen - the kitchen is small and space is limited so there is only a small under counter fridge
- Bathroom - shower only (no bath), renovated in 2022
- Near by to lovely green spaces - Greenwich Park (30 minute walk), Hilly fields (20 minute walk) and Telegraph hill (25 minute walk/bus)
- High ceilings and large windows in the living room/kitchen and study, low ceilings in bathroom and room being rented
- Smart tv and broadband available
Amenities near by
Close to lots of bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants in New Cross, Brockley and Deptford, and Brockley food market every Saturday
Shops - Tesco express 3 minute walk away, Sainsburys local 10 minutes away, big Asda 10 minutes away on the bus, a pharmacy with a post office 1 minute away, laundrette 1 minute away, lots of small convivence stores around open late or 24 hours
Transport
