2 double bedrooms in Brockley!

Hiya!

Andrea (34yo, from Italy) and I (30yo, from Switzerland) have two double rooms going in a 4-bedroom house in Brockley. We are looking for 2 professional people (30+ years old) to move in with us.

Andrea is a researcher for King's College and I am a menswear designer/ events freelancer. We would love to find someone who would like to make this house a homely home with us and for whom cleaningness and tidiness is super important too. We're into cooking, music, sports... all the usual stuff! We would like to share a drink, a meal or a chat when we have the time and capacity to do so but equally, feel like we have no obligation to hang out when life is too much as I work a lot and Andrea is a social butterfly. There is a massive garden too so you will be able to fulfil all your gardening dreams if you want to.

DOUBLE BEDROOM 1
•⁠ £750 per month (bills £138.17 per month)
•⁠ £894.23 deposit
•⁠ Move-in date 23 June
•⁠ Unfurnished
•⁠ Both bedrooms 1 and 2 share a floor which has its own bathroom, toilets and 2 built-in storage cupboards
•⁠ The double bedroom is on the lower ground floor and the window is on the front of the house (that floor has its own entrance too!)
•⁠ The room has just undergone some massive work to make it damp-proof!

DOUBLE BEDROOM 2
•⁠ £750 per month (bills £138.17 per month)
•⁠ £894.23 deposit
•⁠ Move-in date 1 August (some wiggle room here)
•⁠ Unfurnished. However, the bed, mattress, chest of drawers, desk and wardrobe can be bought from the previous tenant for £250 if needed
•⁠ Both bedrooms 1 and 2 share a floor which has its own bathroom, toilets and 2 built-in storage cupboards
•⁠ The double bedroom is on the lower ground floor and the window faces the garden (that floor has its own entrance too!)

ABOUT THE HOUSE
•⁠ 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilets, 1 living room, 1 dining room and separate kitchen, huge garden and extra storage cupboards. The house is a dream!
•⁠ The street is a perfect mix of noise & quiet.
•⁠ Location is on Malpas Road, between Brockley, New Cross and New Cross Gate (all equidistant). Depfort is a little bit further away but still a walkable distance and Telegraph Hill is a 15-minute walk away which is a dream in summer!
•⁠ A multitude of pubs and local Indian restaurant, Burrito take-away, Caribbean restaurants as well as small supermarkets/corner shops around us too.
•⁠ We are surrounded by bus stops that will take you everywhere.
•⁠ Free parking on the road (first come first serve basis).

A FEW THINGS
•⁠ The bathroom / toilets are unfurnished.
•⁠ The current 2-year contract is up in February 2026 but we are very much looking to extend it.
•⁠ You will have to pass the usual referencing and earn at least £24K per year (not students, sorry).
