Description
Hello!
I've just had an offer accepted for this 2-bed flat on St Asaph Road in Brockley, and I'm looking for a flatmate to join me!
**About the flat**
It's super nice, and full of character. There's a big living room with loads of light, a separate kitchen, and two large bedrooms, one of which has a huge window & built in storage. The flat is unfurnished.
The big perk is the heated(!) summer house/office at the back of the garden. Its basically an extra living room: more than enough enough space for a desk and sofa-bed. It will be the perfect place for home working, creative projects, or summer parties :)
The flat is on the ground floor of terraced house. Council tax band B (Lewisham Council), and EPC rating of D.
**The location**
Brockley is a wonderful area, with lots of great green space nearby. The flat is within walking distance of multiple train/overground stations for quick access to central London.
**About me**
I'm Luke, 30, and I work in climate policy. I'm a laidback and sociable person, into outdoorsy things, live music, reading and pub trips. I also like cooking and often cook meals for my flatmates! I'm looking for a flatmate to make this place homely and inviting for the approaching winter months!
**Admin**
Rent is £1190 per month (splitting both rooms evenly). Bills not included, but estimated to be around £150 a month. There is a deposit of 5-weeks rent, which comes to £1370 each. The contract will be for 1 year. The estate agent will require referencing checks (for a small fee that I'll share with you). Move in date will be 24th November (but can be a week or two later if needed).
**If you are interested**
I'm looking for someone who has a similar-ish lifestyle to me: not a massive party animal, but someone sociable and friendly. Ideally you'll be looking to stay for a year or more (but shorter term lets might be ok too).
I haven't moved in yet, so I can't offer in person viewings, but the pictures are accurate - there were no surprises when I viewed it myself. If you are keen, I can get back in touch with the estate agent to arrange an extra viewing for you.
If you are interested, let me know a bit about yourself, and I'll be in touch so that we can chat more & potentially meet up.
Thanks!
Luke
