2 rooms to rent

2 rooms to rent in lovely house in Brockley/New cross area.

Both rooms are upstairs with big bathroom that is mainly only yours to use.

One master bedroom (£890) and one double room (£760)- bills are around £145/£150.

Our 2 upstairs housemates are moving out, 1 moving to Margate and another moving in with their partner.

Me (Elliot) and Calum are looking for like-minded people to replace them.

In terms of housemates we're looking for all the usual stuff: clean, fairly sociable and independent people who would appreciate maintaining a homely vibe but with no pressure to hang out constantly. We obviously would like to live with people we get along really well with but we each have our own social lives and enjoy our solo time too. Generally, we enjoy a calm environment to come back to after work in the week but not opposed to something more lively on the weekend. As a house we've had dinners and drinks together when our schedules have aligned so looking for people who would enjoy that too.

ABOUT US:

We are both big on music, art all the usual stuff

Elliot: Most of the time I'm out skateboarding or going to gigs/pubs with my friends. For work, I respond to requests about use of medicines and drug safety. At home I'm chilling most of the time, cooking watching films, making music etc and I love hosting a nice dinner party in the living room (lasagna)
Calum also loves his music and art and is a mental health researcher at UCL. We're both 29 and looking for someone around that age but not opposed to younger or a bit older as long as we're on a similar wavelength. Cleanliness and respect are a few of the most important things - it's always hard to write these things and not sound basic but essentially if you're nice, friendly and you don't take the piss as a housemate then you're fine :)..

ABOUT THE HOUSE
•⁠ 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilets, 1 living room, 1 dining room and separate kitchen, huge garden and extra storage cupboards.
•⁠ Location is on Malpas Road, between Brockley, New Cross and New Cross Gate (less than 10 minutes walk to first 2 and about 15mn to new x gate). Deptford is also a walkable distance and Telegraph Hill is a 15-minute walk away which is a dream in summer!
•⁠ Trains can easily get you into the city either directly or via Canada Water or Whitechapel.
•⁠ We are also surrounded by bus stops that also easily get you anywhere.
•⁠ Free parking on the road (first come first serve basis).
•⁠ The street is mostly residential so feels nice and quiet but there's corner shops, takeaways, cafes, eateries etc within walking distance.

Move in date would be 30th May, minimum flexibility.

FYI, the 2 housemates moving out got a lot of the kitchen stuff and the living room sofa and dining table which we will have to replace.

Agency doesn't accept students, sorry!.
