Cozy Room in a quiet, green neighborhood!

I’m looking for someone to take over my room for a bright, attic, double room in a friendly flat in Brockley; I’ll be moving out + heading back to Canada for a bit.

The flat is in a great location, just a 10-minute walk from St. John’s Station, with London Bridge only 10 mins away by train.

It’s also a 10-min walk to Hilly Fields and is conveniently close to a gym, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Starbs/ Pret and a local Tesco Express.

You’ll be living with two lovely housemates in their 30s who work in climate policy and the pharmaceutical industry. They’re friendly, respectful, and mostly do their own thing, making it an easy and relaxed home to live in. The bathroom is shared with one other tenant, who is tidy.

IMPORTANT: Pls read all the info below carefully before replying to this ad.

Rent is due on the 1st of each month and is paid to one housemate, who then transfers it to the letting agency. Bills are split and managed through Splitwise.

Things to consider:
- Bills are roughly £200 per month
- I’m looking for someone to move in for beginning or mid August (if this doesn’t work for you, pls don’t reply to the ad)
- landlord references (you’ll need 2)
- need to be employed
- no virtual viewings, IRL only
- letting agency takes roughly 2 weeks or so to approve + we’re happy for you to move once you’ve passed your reference checks - we’ll just divide the rent/bills so it’s fair for you/ folks etc
