We're looking for someone to move into a lovely furnished double bedroom in a 3 bedroom + 2.5 bathroom flat in Bromley-by-Bow. We're a short 4 minutes walk to the Bromley-by-Bow station which has the District and Hammersmith lines, and 2 stops from Mile End, which has the Central Line. We're also a 4 minutes walk from Devons Road Station, which has the DLR, and gets you to Canary Wharf in 15 minutes.
Your room:
A bedroom on the top floor of the maisonette. Furnished with a double bed, a large wardrobe, a desk, and a chair. It has a view into some greenery down below, and the rest of the apartment complex.
The flat:
A 5th floor (topmost) 3 bedroom maisonette, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs, and an open plan sitting room + kitchen, a third bedroom, a huge balcony, and a 1/2 bathroom upstairs. We have a gym and a concierge in the apartment complex. I can't emphasize how huge the balcony is; we've used it to host house parties and the occasional football game. In addition, we have bike racks shared by the apartment block if you need to store your bike(s). But you could use the balcony for that too.
The area:
We have a local Sainsbury's about a 4 minute walk away, and a Tesco SuperStore about 10 minutes away. We're also about 20 minutes by bus from Victoria Park. There are a few nice pubs around, a cute little cinema nearby called Genesis Cinema, and some of our favourite restaurants near Mile End (Rama Thai and Rusty Bike serve up some really spicy goodness).
Current Tenants:
The current tenants (Areeb and Avto) are professionals working in the energy industry. I work in tech myself, and will be leaving the flat only because I have to move abroad for work. We are warm and friendly amongst each other, (having been friends even before living together), and usually socialize in the sitting room, but give each other space to do our own things when we need it.
Areeb and Avto both work mostly from home, and have set up work stations in their rooms for this purpose, so if you like, you could work from the sitting room when you need to, or from your room if you prefer.
