Skyline Apartments, 11 Makers Yard, E3.

Double Room available from 15th August 2024 for long lets.

My current flatmate is moving out end of July and I’m looking for a replacement. Contract renews on the 26th of August but move in date is anytime in August.

It’s a fully furnished, new build modern, very well set up house since I’ve been here for 2 years now. Situated in Bromley by Bow - 5-7 minute walk to Bromley by Bow Station (District & Hammersmith line, Zone 2), 2-3 minute walk to the closest bus stop that takes you to either Canary Wharf within 20 minutes or Stratford within 10 minutes. The apartment is above a river with a view of the Canary Wharf Skyline.

You would be sharing with me, I’m an Architect / Project Manager and I’m looking for someone who’s sociable, easy going, considerate and clean!

The flat has a decent sized living room which is fully furnished and has a fitted kitchen with rated appliances, everything you’d expect, fridge / freezer, washer / dryer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. You won’t really need anything in the kitchen except of course your utensils.

The flat also benefits from a fairly large balcony. Since it’s on the 5th floor it’s got a really nice view as I’ve explained above.

The room to let is furnished with a large double bed, a spacious wardrobe, 2 bed side tables and has additional space to spare if you want to set up a desk. You’ve got your own private bathroom but it’s not an en-suite (2bed-2bath).

The flat is quite airy, great cross ventilation with floor to ceiling glass door for the balcony.

The apartment has a private courtyard / garden space, a cinema room, cycle store.

I’m looking for working professionals preferably, no pets, students or couples. Preferably you’re employed or self employed and able to demonstrate your income and will be subject to reference checks by the agents.

Rent is £1,325 excluding bills.
Deposit is 5 weeks rent
You will be getting into a new contract with me so the agents will provide the exact deposit amount. I don’t want to say an amount that’s incorrect.

Viewings ideally to take place ASAP. My current flatmate will be able to give you access because I’m at work all week. If you’re available after 6pm on the weekdays I’ll be home to show you around. I can work with viewings on the weekends as well.

There’s a few requirements from the agency with regard to referencing.

- Previous landlord reference
- Employer reference
- minimum income is £30k per annum (I could be wrong but we can confirm that - shouldn’t be an issue)
- information for a credit check (last few addresses you’ve lived at etc.)
