I am sadly leaving my amazing mansion block flat in Brondesbury/Kilburn to move in with my partner - leaving behind two fantastic housemates and a brilliant room. The flat is a three double bed, two bath, three toilet, high ceiling, home which we've worked to make feel really welcoming and warm. We have a wraparound communal garden, lovely neighbours, loads of space and all mod cons (the flat was refurbished fully not long before we moved there in 2017).
Room - The room is massive, with two full size wardrobes, king size bed, two bedside tables and drawers. I have worked in there at my desk throughout 2020 so its very possible to do so given the amount of space! also loads of room for sitting chairs, bikes and furniture etc. Our lounge had a big L sofa, books everywhere, big TV and the kitchen has loads of stuff including Nespresso machine. The room comes with its own high spec bathroom with a good sized bath.
Costs - Rent is really good for the amount of space and the area - bills are another £105-110 per month and includes Netflix, Spotify, Prime and all the utilities inc tv licence.
Flatmates - one of my flatmates is a publisher and the other is a civil servant. They're both super nice and work 9-5 jobs from home at the moment (like most!) but a mix as we open up again. They're really relaxed and really keen to get to know anyone who moves in.
The area - being between Kilburn and Queen's Park, we're really well placed for shops, supermarkets, farmers markets, restaurants and pubs - plus Hampstead Heath is 3 stops on the Overground or a 35 mine walk! I really love this area and has such a relaxed fell about it. I will be very sad to leave.
