Aug 14-Sep 9 - Furnished double with terrace

This is a short let while I'm travelling Aug 14-Jul 9.

Looking to sublet my peaceful double bedroom in our ground floor flat with a lovely terrace and a sit-in kitchen, tucked away yet centrally located. You'll share with one perfect flatmate and a cheeky cat. This room would best suit someone friendly and considerate who likes cats and appreciates a little garden as much as we do.

The room:
You'll be staying at my bedroom which is the master bedroom and a spacious double. It's furnished with a double bed and comfy firm mattress, a cozy armchair, large built-in wardrobe with a big mirror, two chests of drawers, TV and mirror. There's also a rowing machine and a yoga mat if you like a home workout. The back door to the leafy terrace is equipped with full length blackout roller blinds and curtains, so you'll get a good night sleep even when it's sunny.

The apartment:
Located on the ground floor of a classic Victorian terraced building, our flat consists of 2 large bedrooms, a spacious sit-in kitchen, a family bathroom, a small office and a leafy terrace. Please note that there is no shared livingroom.
The kitchen is very well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, gas stove and fan oven and everything else you might need to cater for yourself, including an espresso machine, modern blender, toaster, microwave, assorted cutlery etc.
The bathroom has a window and a shower over bathtub for those who love a bubble bath.
We absolutely love the little overgrown terrace, which you can access via your own bedroom door. Enjoy the morning sun, potted plants and homegrown vegetables in the morning, have your meals at the little bistro table, relax with a book on the sun loungers or enjoy a peaceful moment with the fairy lights in the evening.

You'll have sole use of the master bedroom and shared use of the kitchen, bathroom and terrace. You won't be able to use the little office.

I will be abroad during your stay but remain only a text/call away.
Stuart works from home often and will be around the flat most days. He'll be able to help you with any immediate issues or questions you might have.

The area:
Brondesbury is both bustling and well-connected. Located in zone 2, you´ll have fantastic transport links right on your doorstep:
* Jubilee line (connecting to Green Park/Greenwich) in 8 walking minutes
* Overground (to Stratford and Richmond/Clapham) in 4 walking minutes
* Bakerloo line (via Marlybone/Elephant&Castle) in 15 minutes
* Overground line (to Euston) in 15 minutes
* Thameslink train services in 15 minutes

Apart from being near to the centre, Brondesbury has a lot to offer as well. There are plenty of Supermarkets nearby, there are several great pubs and cafés and outstanding Italian restaurants and authentic kebap and falafel eateries. Only a short walk away are West Hampstead with more great little restaurants and an outstanding farmers market, and Queens Park with lovely indie shops, eateries and yoga studios.

Less than 5 minutes away you can find Kiln Theatre, which is renowned for great program cinema and plays/musicals that have later moved on to the West End.

If you like parks, we can recommend the Old Paddington Cemetary for a local walk, or a quick ride on the Overground to Hampstead Heath with its vast green spaces and wild swimming ponds.
