Description
The Lowdown
Our flat is located in a lovely residential area, within walking distance of Queen’s Park station on the Bakerloo line, Brondesbury Park on the Overground, and Kilburn Park on the Jubilee line. It’s southeast-facing, so we get an enviable amount of sunlight throughout the day. In terms of location, vibe, and safety, it’s by far the best place I’ve lived during my 10 years in London.
Your room is the smaller of the two, but you’ll have a large chest of drawers in the hallway exclusively for your use.
We’re just minutes away from Queen’s Park, where I go for my morning run most days. It’s the pièce de résistance of our little pad. There’s also a tranquil cemetery nearby—perfect for when you’re feeling contemplative and need a quiet spot for a stroll after a long day.
The baristas at our local cafés will know you by name, and we’re spoiled for choice—whether it’s Dark & Light or the local Gail’s on Salisbury Road. Every Sunday, there’s an organic food market, plus plenty of trendy restaurants and bars. You won’t need to go far for a fun weekend, with spots like Wolfpack, Carmel, and Alice House just around the corner.
A Little Bit About Me
I work as a social media marketing manager in publishing. My flatmate Zac is sadly relocating back to the States, so I’m now searching for his replacement. We met on Spareroom and really lucked out with this amazing flat. I’m tidy, considerate, and easygoing. I get along with most people and am always up for a friendly chat or drink. Work keeps me busy, but I enjoy running, playing tennis, and hanging out with friends on the weekends – when I'm not catching up on work...
I work from home 3-4 days a week, often bouncing between local cafés. I don’t mind if you work from home too, but it might work better if you do more days in the office.
I’m queer, and it’s important that I live with someone open-minded and respectful. If this all sounds good to you, drop me a message with a quick intro. I’m looking to arrange viewings as soon as possible.
Thanks!
