Description

Hi!

Two of us are moving out of this lovely house soon (one of us leaving London, the other one moving closer to work) and are looking for someone to move into our rooms in Brook Green (10 min from Hammersmith station, 10 from Shepherds Bush, 7 from Kensington Olympia overground station).

Please check ad #15518241 for more photos! :)

The DOUBLE ROOM is on the second floor, overlooking the street, and it looks like this:
- Big master bedroom with a double bed, a desk and a chair, two big wardrobes, a bookcase and even a fireplace (purely for the aesthetics, not actually working).
- High ceilings.
- Double bed with bedside table.
- Big window to the street, which makes it very sunny during the day.
- Plenty of storage space. It has storage under the bed, a big chest of drawers, the two wardrobes, the bookcase and bedside table, which also has drawers.
- Full length mirrors on the wardrobes.

The SINGLE ROOM is at the top of the house. It looks out to the garden and it's the warmest and sunniest. It has under-bed storage, duvet and covers, a massive wardrobe with full length mirror and hangers, a vintage bedside table kind of thing. Also, one of the bathrooms is right next to it!

THE HOUSE: it's a three-story Victorian house in a very nice residential area. It has 2 full bathrooms, a very big kitchen with washer, drier and dishwasher, Netflix room (with sofa bed for visits), patio/garden, a creepy cellar full of stuff that needs exploring.

You'd be living with a Spanish boy and our live-in landlord, both in their late 20s. Our flatmate works in a translation company and the landlord in journalism, and they usually have regular office hours.

THE AREA: The road is very quiet, but the main road, just around the corner, has a big Tesco, a Sainsbury's, a few cute cafes and restaurants, a gym, a public library and even a flower shop. 10 min from Shepherd's Bush means you have Westfield and everything you can buy, and two Vue cinemas.

MONEY MONEY: The double room is £700 and the single £600 plus gas, electricity and Wifi. The landlord pays for water and council tax. The bills are normally under £20 in the summer and around £50 in the winter plus £6/month for the broadband.

The contract would be for a minimum of 6 months, with no reference or agency fees. However, our landlord does require proof of employment.

More about... YOU!: We're open to living with anyone from anywhere, but ideally you don't work nights and sleep all day (because then we'll never see you).

Basic requirements: you're tidy in communal spaces and can follow a cleaning rota, you're not a smoker, you don't leave the lights on all the time, and you don't think Covid is a lie.
Bonus points if you're into gardening.

If this sounds like you... we can't wait to meet you!

EDIT: Unfortunately, the single room will only become available in December. The double room will still be available from November, however.
