Description
Hi! We are 3 young professionals (1 Argentinian girl, 2 English guys) living in this beautiful fully-furnished house (10 min from Hammersmith station, 10 from Shepherds Bush, 7 from Kensington Olympia overground station).
The DOUBLE ROOM is on the second floor, overlooking the street, and it looks like this:
- Big bedroom with a double bed, a big wardrobe, a secondary wardrobe, and a bedside table. Space enough to put in a desk and a chair.
- High ceilings.
- Big window to the street, which makes it very sunny during the day.
- Plenty of storage space.
- Full length mirrors on the main wardrobe.
THE HOUSE: it's a three-story Victorian house in a very nice residential area. It has 2 full bathrooms, a very big kitchen with washer, drier and dishwasher, Netflix room (with sofa bed for visits -after covid), and patio/garden.
ROOMMATES: one of the guys works for TFL, our live-in-landlord works in journalism, and I'm a translator and we usually have regular office hours. Our landlord is really cool and easy to talk to. If you ever have a problem, he fixes it right away. We like to hang out sometimes, chat and have dinner together but we're also respectful of other people's personal space.
THE AREA: The road is very quiet, but the main road, just around the corner, has a big Tesco, a Sainsbury's, a few cute cafes and restaurants, a gym, a public library and even a flower shop. 10 min from Shepherd's Bush means you have Westfield and everything you can buy, and two Vue cinemas.
MONEY MONEY: the landlord pays for water and council tax. Rent would be £675+ wifi, electricity and gas. The bills are normally under £20 in the summer and around £50 in the winter plus £6/month for the broadband.
The contract would be for a minimum of 6 months, with no reference or agency fees.
More about... YOU!: We're open to living with anyone from anywhere, but ideally you don't work nights and sleep all day (because then we'll never see you).
Basic requirements: you're tidy in communal spaces and can follow a cleaning rota, you're not a smoker, you don't leave the lights on all the time, you're LGBT+ friendly, you want to join a sociable household that does things like 'Come Dine With Me', and you don't think Covid is a lie.
If this sounds like you... we can't wait to meet you!
