Description
Hi! We are sadly looking for a replacement for our lovely housemate who is moving out at the beginning of January. This really is our home - we all met through Spareroom and get on so well! We’re now hoping to find a new friend to join our lovely home - someone clean, tidy, and fun!
The flat is located in an old Victorian Mansion along a little green haven with excellent connections. An 8 min walk will get you to Kensington Olympia Overground station and with a 10 min walk you can get to either Hammersmith or Barons Court Underground stations, where you can take the Piccadilly, District, Circle, and Hammersmith and City lines. If that wasn't enough, Shepherds Bush (Central) is 15 mins away, and 24h buses whizz past in every direction.
The local walks are lovely. Hyde Park, Holland Park and Notting Hill are all walkable and a great way to spend a weekend. Especially Notting Hill has plenty of bars/cafes etc where you can get yourself a mid-walk treat.
However you might just want to stay closer to home and enjoy the cosy flat. We might not have a living room, but our kitchen is big and bright, allowing for much needed catchups. We all love food and cooking, so having the space is 🙏 A fave aspect of our flat is the kitchen view to the dog park, which entertains us for hours!
We have a bathroom (including bathtub) and a separate shower room, which is super handy for when we have overlapping morning routines.
About the room! It's of course a double, with high ceilings and two built in cupboards. It comes with a wardrobe, but is otherwise unfurnished - we can negotiate handing over furniture for a small fee. The room is cool in summer and toasty in winter, and cosy at all times!
Briefly about the current housemates: Hannah is a nanny and a massive Swiftie, she also love delicious bakes, and is a true arts and crafts queen.
Ellie works in daytime television, is also a massive swiftie, F1 and pub fan and prides herself on her ability to binge watch TV shows.
Mary is a journalist who loves fashion and sports and is an expert at exploring what London has to offer.
Boring money bits: rent is £729 pcm, and bills (gas, electricity, council tax, water and broadband) add up to around £120 pcm for everything (so just about £850 all in!)
