Description
High quality, quiet, and secure apartment with patio. 4 mins from tube station, 10 minutes from King Cross. Bi-weekly payments preferred.
ABOUT ME:
I’m from this neighbourhood, have gone to university locally, and live close to my parents. I'm a career-focused Civil Engineer by profession, although currently on a break.
In my spare time I like running, tennis, HIIT, skiing, martial arts, etc. and to occasionally go out with friends or to have them over for a meal or barbeque. We are not rowdy people & I don’t drink much. I keep a low-key social life & enjoy the apartment’s reasonably calm setting.
ABOUT YOU:
I would appreciate someone who is reasonably sociable, instead of feeling like I’m living with a ghost that never leaves their room and I don't know if they're dead or alive. You are welcome to have people over on occasions, provided this is done responsibly and communicated, and that you know who you are inviting over. My expectations:
- Tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and correctly uses appliances
- Happy to communicate any guests staying over (occasional partner visits welcome)
- Free from frequent parties, illicit drug use, or casual hookups in the flat
- Responsible for any guests’ behaviour in the flat and around the estate
You can expect similar etiquette from myself.
YOUR BEDROOM:
- 13m2 bright, south-west facing room with large patio doors
- 4m2 bathroom, located in the corridor
- Single bed that expands into a comfortable double
- Wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers, fitted desk, and shelves
- High-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of natural daylight
Additional photos and/or floorplan available upon request for privacy reasons.
RENT:
I'm more concerned with finding the right person/people to live with, than trying to charge as much £ as I can for the room. The exact rent is flexible, provided we want similar things and get along well. Other adjustments might include:
- Optional cleaning services (extra)
- Access to a private office space (extra)
- Pet approvals (likely extra, but depends)
- If you would like bills included or not (currently most are included except TV license)
- Council tax (band E) deductions (for students)
APARTMENT SPECS:
Modern 5-year-old ground-floor flat with premium fixtures, in a quiet and secure location.
- 90 m2 interior: open-plan kitchen/living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, hallway, and a dedicated storage/office nook
- Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, and other appliances
- Laundry room: equipped with drying racks, storage shelves, and washer/dryer
- Floor-to-ceiling doors opening onto a 60 m2 patio
- Ring Pro doorbell camera at the front door for added security
ESTATE SPECS:
- 24/7 concierge service (included)
- Landscaped communal gardens (included)
- Secure indoor bicycle storage (included)
- On-site gym (approx. £25/month)
- Underground parking (approx. £400/month)
FURTHER INFORMATION:
My current flatmate moves out on the 15th December. I am open to shorter-term stays over the holiday season - but I will charge a daily rate of approximately £100 for stays less than 1 week.
Thanks for reading – if this sounds like a good fit, drop me a message with a bit about yourself and your ideal move-in date. I look forward to hearing from you.
