I (Lizzie) am moving out of my lovely room in September and am looking for someone to replace me on the lease effective mid-late September. The flat is a 2-bed ground floor in Islington, and is shared with one other person, Elisavet a Greek student in her early 20s who describes herself as both a student and professional. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, dresser, nightstand, and if you fancy it I’m willing to sell the bookshelf in the photos as well. The cost of rent also includes your own private spacious bathroom in the hall next to your room—not technically an en suite, but close enough! The flat also has a lovely and bright shared sitting/dining room that flows into an open plan kitchen complete with double ovens and a 5-burner gas hob. Best of all is the balcony which overlooks the downstairs neighbours’ garden, and is the perfect place to have a glass of wine with friends! This little corner of Islington is bustling, and the flat is not only a 5 minute walk away from the Cally tube station (Picc) but also a Nisa, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and a lovely local indie food shop. A slightly longer walk and the overground, and the amenities of both Holloway and Caledonian roads are at your fingers. Bills are split equally, but not included in rent, and generally do not add up to more than 200 a month. The flat is council tax band D. Future tenants must also be non-smokers, have no pets, and be tidy and respectful of communal living spaces. Both students and young professionals are welcome to apply but as the flat is rented through KFH you will have to undergo right-to-rent checks and referencing before being accepted, so it’s worth noting that you should either have a steady income or a guarantor who is resident in the UK!
