HOUSEHOLDER
A lady in her early 80’s, she is a retired psychotherapist, author and researcher and she keeps many of the interests going. She recently came home from the hospital and is looking to have a homesharer that will provide low level support at assist with daily routines. She currently has a carer every morning to assist with aspects of personal care and a weekly cleaner but feels she would benefit from having the reassurance of having a homesharer and the overnight presence they can offer. Is mobile with the use of a walking aid.
Some of her hobbies and interests include, reading, listening to music, tending to her garden (with help). Likes to follow the news and current affairs. People are very important to her and tries to see a friend daily.
She has a great support network in family, but they are all at some distance. Has a brother living nearby, another in London and has many friends in the area.
The ideal homesharer would be a female who is kind, and friendly, clean, tidy and is easy to chat with. Is open to applicants who are working, studying, or volunteering. I am happy for them to work from home if necessary.
The lady likes a quiet household and therefore is seeking a quiet and introverted homesharer who can offer some companionship but own space when required. As part of the householder’s routine, bedtime is around 9pm and would prefer the house is quiet and would prefer the homesharer to meet friends mainly outside the house
