Hi guys! Double room in Kentish Town available
Room available in our lovely Kentish Town flat as I'm moving in with my partner! The room available is the first one shown in the video. These videos were taken when we first moved in, but the pictures were taken today 😁
The flatmates: a guy and a gal from Scotland, both late 20s and really nice and friendly. We met through living together but socialise a bit (pub, dinners etc). They both work 9-5 jobs and are in the office three days per week.
Location: Brecknock Road, 10/15 min walk from Kentish Town station (Northern Line and National Rail). The Piccadilly Line is also close by (Caledonian Road) and the Overground is about a 15/20 min walks (Camden Road). There is also a bus stop right outside with buses to central and East London.
Shops: There is a Lidl, big Morrisons and Iceland about a 15/20 min walk away (Holloway). There is also a Tesco Express about 5 mins away, and a 24-hour Nisa Local a few doors down. There are also some lovely pubs around, and there are greats bars, cafes and restaurants near Kentish Town station on the high street. Camden and Kings Cross are also within walking distance.
The room: Comes with a double bed, wardrobe, under-bed storage, desk, chair and a set of drawers. Plenty of storage. It has a skylight window which is remote control operated. It also had a blackout blind. The rooms are located at the back of the flat, so you don't hear anything on the street once you're in the bedrooms.
Rent is £1000 excluding bills. Available January 21st but that date is flexible. However the lease renews on February 21st, so move in date can be later if needed. If you want to love in on January 21st, landlord would need reference checks 14 days before. I'm flexible when I can move, so can hand keys over a bit before January 21st if needed.
Cleaning: We have a weekly cleaning rota to make sure the flat stays nice and tidy. There is also a dishwasher which is handy!
Who we are looking for: Ideally someone 25-30, man or woman. Needs to be clean and tidy and happy to clean the flat when it's their week. Someone sociable would be great as we've created a really nice atmosphere in the flat.
Also, the landlord lives down the road and has been super responsive to anything we want changed.
