Room in large Islington house

URGENTLY LOOKING FOR A FLATMATE

Hi ladies! My flatmates Victoria, Sarah, and I are looking for a flatmate in our 4 bed house in Islington right by Caledonian Road station. We attached the pictures some pictures from open rent, but they don't do the house justice as the rooms, kitchen, and lounge are definitely a lot bigger than the photos make them out to be. Note that the kitchen and living room and separate rooms, which is RARE in London now.

💰Financials:
• Rent: £967 per month
• Bills: ~£130-150 including council tax, electricity, gas, water, and a biweekly cleaner (cleaner is only about £25 per month)
• Deposit: £1,150 per person

📑Lease start date: from 13th September (slightly flexible on this until late September)

📍Location & area: We're in the heart of the borough of Islington with plenty of cafes, a Tesco express, Sainsbury's local, Nisa local, and Caledonian park nearby, which has tennis courts and a full sports complex! There's also the Gym Group, yoga studio, kickboxing, and a few other spots for working out close by. The house is surrounded by historic and environmental conservation areas, so the street it's on is beautifully lined with trees dating back hundreds of years. The area is very quiet family neighbourhood.

🚇Transport: 6 minute walk to Caledonian Road station, which is on the Piccadilly line and only one stop from King's Cross station! Also a 15 minute walk to Caledonian Road & Barnsbury station (Mildmay line). Plenty of buses within a few minutes walk of the house going directly to Angel, Trafalgar Square, King's Cross, London Bridge, Crouch End, Chalk Farm, Hackney Central, Lancaster Gate, etc.

🏡About the house & landlords: Our landlords are siblings who grew up in this very house. Their dad bought their family home in the 1960s and they've since preserved this house immaculately. They've asked us to take good care of the house and we absolutely have done so!

🫵🏽About you: We are looking for an individual who is a full-time professional. We would prefer someone in their late 20s or early 30s but MINimum age of 26. You must be clean and tidy, and we have a cleaner come once a month to clean the communal spaces. We love to do movie nights together, go for a drink after work, and just hang out, but we also know to respect your alone time, recharge time, and time with your own friends. Guests are allowed but no full blown parties.

👯‍♀️About us: Victoria is 29 and from Canada! She moved to London 1.5 years ago from Copenhagen where she lived for nearly 6 years. Victoria works in communications for a British menswear brand and wfh 2 days a week. She love going to galleries, exploring new areas of the city and of course going to the pub 🍻

Sarah is 29, and originally from Washington DC area in the US. She moved to London 2 years ago after teaching in South Korea for a few years. She’s a secondary school teacher and tend to have an early night on weekdays to get the kids educated. Sarah loves baking, any sweet treat, doing my own gel nails, going on walks, and a good movie night.

Simran, 27, grew up in Hong Kong, went to Toronto for uni, and moved to London 4 years ago for her master's degree in international development. She’s a corporate intelligence analyst (aka a professional stalker) working in the city (wfh 3 times a week). Simran love exploring London, meeting new people, and doing wholesome activities, but also loves a visit to the pub. She’s going through her third eat pray love era so she’s reconfiguring her hobbies right now… let’s say sudoku and crafts but watch this space.
