Double Room in 2 bed flat in Camberwell

I’m moving out of my 2-bed flat after a year of living here with my flatmate Chris. We both signed a 3 year contract with a 2 year break clause (which means the rent is fixed for the next year), so I need someone to take over my contract for at least a year.

A bit about the flat - it's a bright 2 bedroom with a big lounge and a separate kitchen. It's on the first floor and has a small balcony which overlooks a nice green park. It's also just off the main Walworth Road/Camberwell Road, but on a very quiet road, so it's really well connected but also is nice and quiet at night. It's also just across the road from Burgess Park. There are loads of buses on Camberwell Road too, so you can easily get a bus into town, otherwise Kennington or Oval tube is about 15min walk away. Camberwell centre is just 10 mins from the flat, so also really close and has some great restaurants.

The bedroom is big and light, and can easily fit a desk for working from home (see the photos). The bedroom also has a built in wardrobe. The carpets are being replaced in early May, so you'll have new flooring by the move in date.

The lounge is really light, and very spacious. We currently have 2 bikes in there plus a desk, a table and chairs, and 2 sofas, so you have plenty of room to manoeuvre! The kitchen is down the hallway, which also has 2 storage units, and is a nice size with plenty of workspace and cupboards.

Bills not included. Bills approximately £115 per month including water, gas, electric, council tax and internet.

Hey! I’m Chris, working in the environmental non profit sector and currently in the office about 2/3 days per week. I enjoy going for a drink, working out and generally being sociable. I’m looking to live with someone who is tidy and respectful, but also fun to be around.
