Double room in Camberwell

Hi everyone!

We’re looking for someone to take over a big room in Camberwell right next to Burgess Park.

We live in a maisonette, so a flat over two floors, with a huge open plan kitchen and living room with modern fixtures.

Our nearest bus stop is just a minute away. There are direct connections to Waterloo, Charing Cross, Tottenham Court Rd, Blackfriars, Liverpool Street/Shoreditch, London Bridge, Shepherd’s Bush, Euston, Elephant & Castle, Clapham, Brixton etc. I rarely find myself without a direct bus home!

We’re also a 15-20 min walk from Kennington and Oval tube stations.

Hybrid working possible, there’s plenty of space for a desk, would just need to find one off Facebook marketplace!

Postgrad students welcome if willing to pay council tax.

About us:
Charlotte: 25, works full time as a consultant, in the office 4 days a week. I like gym, choir, trying new restaurants & bars, and doing little bits of art as a hobby.

Mira: 24, masters student in violin performance, out at uni most days. Mira likes music, tv and film, noodles, museums, and any opportunity to socialize.

We’re friends but also quite independent - which means we like to watch MAFS together and chat about our days when we’re home at the same time but we tend to be quite busy in the week. We keep the place very clean (well, you can be the judge of that haha) but follow a vague ‘tidy up after yourself’ principle rather than a schedule or rota. We have friends over occasionally but for the most part the flat is a bit of peace in the city! The house is also a queer friendly space x

Rent is due 28th of the month, £1,100 pcm plus deposit. Move in date is 28th Dec but flexible so just message me with any questions :)

We have the tenancy until the end of September with the option of extending to rolling.
