We have a bright and airy double room available in a lovely 3-floor house – perfect if you’re looking for a welcoming home with lots of space, that is both clean and comfortable with kind, and calm happy professionals as your housemates.

We are live-in landlords and one other lovely lodger. We get on well and many of our previous lodgers/ flatmates have become good friends over the years.

Who we are: We work in
- the coffee industry
- digital marketing
- medicine (a doctor in ICU)

We love to travel, hang out in local places, watch movies, read, enjoy music & quiet time, walk our mature & calm dog and visit family and friends in London and further afield.

Our home is a lovely safe and calm space where we enjoy sharing with flatmates/lodgers. It has a positive, no drama vibe which is important to us, it’s got lots of plants 🪴, is kept clean and tidy and we are looking for another lovely self aware human to add to this communal feel house.

If you value your space, your mental health and a home where you can enjoy a healthy balanced life this could be a good spot to stop, relax & breathe in. 🧘‍♀️

The Room
- is a generous double bedroom for one person, thoughtfully decorated
- has beautiful sash window with leafy garden views and natural light all day long
- has high ceilings, and carpet, has central heating, and blackout blinds/curtains for the best sleep
- has a built-in wardrobes with sensor lighting, plus chests of drawers so decent storage
- desk and chair, in both for working at home
- comfortable low double beds you can actually stretch out in
- enough floor space for your Pilates/ yoga practice

The house:
- it’s a big, light and airy but cosy too
- (Georgian period) lots of art, plants and books
- cleaned professionally every week, always tidy
- with great central heating and ventilation
- all rooms have lovely big sash windows
- It is on a quiet road and has a lovely back garden
Dining/ lounge:
Round designer “tulip” dining table in the high-ceiling dining/living room with a great bay window overlooking the back garden and a couple of generous 3 person sofas to chill in and chat, or just chill.

Kitchen:
Big and light, with lots of space to prepare your meals, there's an AGA cooker, 2 fridge/freezers, dishwasher, washing machine and the kitchen overlooks and open out to the private back garden.

Bathroom:
Your bathroom is large with a bath/shower, basin and WC as well as underfloor heating, generous storage space and towel heater. There's a WC on the ground floor, too. And we have another bathroom that two of us use.

Garden:
We have a great back garden with table and chairs, a front garden with storage space for 2 bikes and great front stoop steps for sitting out on a sunny day watching the world go by with a hot cup of coffee/tea.
Camberwell Grove, if you’re not familiar with it is a beautiful leafy road with huge old trees and it’s a really friendly creative neighbourhood. We know all our neighbours and love the friendly vibe and good energy. It’s close to Peckham, East Dulwich, Dulwich Village and Brixton and close to loads of parks.

Transport links are:
Denmark Hill (4 mins) to Farringdon, Victoria and East London etc. and East Dulwich station (7 mins) has trains to London Bridge. Buses are the 40, 185 and 176 right to the end of our road and it's a well-serviced area in terms of shops and quick trips to Brixton, Peckham and Elephant and Castle.

A final note:
We know flat-hunting in London can feel like speed-dating with disappointment. So here’s the promise: we don’t ghost people, we don’t cancel viewings last minute, and what you see in the photos is exactly what you get. The happy surprise is that it’s even better when you see it in person as I’m no photographer.
