Description
Hi everyone!
My flatmate is moving out soon so I’m looking for someone to replace her in my lovely 2-bed flat in Camberwell. The flat has a spacious kitchen, shared bathroom, living room and private garden which is the best in the summer (though it’s looking a little overgrown right now!). I don’t spend loads of time in the living room at the moment but would love that to change and make it look a little more homely. The flat is in a great location near King’s College Hospital, around a 7-minute walk from Denmark Hill station and a 10-minute walk from Loughborough Junction. We are lucky to have a great landlady, Gillian, who is really attentive if there’s ever any issues.
Your share of the rent would be £775 per month plus bills, which normally end up being around £230 each per month. There is a chance the rent may go up slightly when the new lease starts, but I don’t expect this to be by much if that is the case.
You’ll be living with me, Becca - I’m 27 and originally from the north west but have lived in London (and in this flat!) for 4.5 years. I work for a market research agency based in central London which keeps me pretty busy in the week, but outside of work I love going for drinks/dinner with friends, pub quizzes, trying (and often failing) new crafting hobbies, reading, baking and going to my local sauna/plunge pool which is only 5-minute walk from the flat, so another perk!
I’d love to find a flatmate who is keen to socialise and join me in doing some of the things mentioned above. Me and my current flatmate don’t spend much time together, so I’d love to be able to do this more and make the communal areas of the flat feel a bit more homely. Having said this, I am fairly busy with work/general life so will be in and out of the flat. I’m ideally looking for someone in their late 20s/early 30s who is in a similar position.
The room will be available from around the middle of December (exact date TBC) but there may be some flexibility with the exact move in date given Christmas will be right around the corner. I’m away at the end of November and I’m quite keen to have the room filled before then, so would ideally like to do viewings over the next few weeks.
If you’re interested, please feel free to drop me a message telling me a bit about yourself! 💓
