We are looking for a new flatmate in our sunny 4-bed flat on leafy Grove Lane in Camberwell. The available room is a furnished double room on the second floor, with views down grown lane. The flat has two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen/living area and has a prime location for some of the best pubs in south London - as well as being 5 minutes walk from Denmark Hill station (Overground/Thameslink).

We are a mixed flat of young professionals (continuing flatmates 1m, 2f), in creative industries/postgraduate study. We enjoy spending time with each other and are looking for someone to fit in with our harmonic and collaborative ethos. This will be the 8th iteration of flatmates in this flat in the contract year handed down the tenant chain, with the last original tenant now departing. We very much want the new flatmate to make it their own too.

Rent for this room is £935 pcm. This includes wifi and gas bills, whilst other bills of electricity, water and council tax come to around £75 pp pcm. The room comes furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, and hanging rail. The desk, side table and sitting chair could be left for the incoming flatmate by agreement with the current tenant. The current occupant is leaving London for work with 8 months left on the current contract, and is open to subletting (for the full period only), or covering landlord fees to get the new flatmate on the existing contract (which runs until early September, when current flatmates are likely to renew). Either way, a deposit of 5 weeks rent (roughly £1050) will be required.

We hope to host viewings (in person/online) in from November 17-21st, and agree a new tenant by the start of December for move-in during the first week of January.
