Hi there,
I have a bedroom available to rent in my lovely flat in Camberwell. I have lived here for 3 years and my housemate is moving out by the end of December.
The room comes unfurnished and is available from 21 December. Ideally someone would move in from then or by 30 December at the latest.
The rent is £1085 PCM and the bills are currently around £160 PCM. The deposit is 5 weeks rent (although I'm waiting to confirm the exact amount with the landlord) plus one month's rent upfront. Council tax is Band C.
You will be added to the contract on a rolling basis from when you move in. Although the contract is rolling, ideally I'd like someone who is looking to stay for a minimum of 6 months.
Please note: the landlord will require a guarantor for the new tenant (I also have one from when we first moved in.)
The flat is a really good size with separate living room and kitchen and a light and airy bathroom. There is a small balcony area off of the kitchen too. The flat is on the first floor with a flat beneath. We live on a quiet road in Camberwell just behind The Sun pub.
About me: I'm a 34 year old Social Media Manager who has lived in London since university. I like going out to the pub on an evening/weekend. I work for an art gallery so also like going to art exhibitions and gigs.
I'm looking for someone of a similar age who is clean, tidy, sociable, easy-going and up for the occasional pub trip!
Camberwell is a lovely area with bus links to Brixton as well as into central London. The flat is also close to Camberwell high street and short walks to two stations: Denmark Hill and Loughborough Junction.
Please do message me if you think you'd be a good fit. I'm looking to set up some viewings this weekend (29 Nov) and can also be flexible on evenings during the coming weeks too.
