Beautiful Georgian townhouse in Camberwell

Seeking another girl to join the gang in a beautiful Georgian 4 bedroom townhouse in Camberwell. The current housemates, aged between 31-36, are looking for a friendly, like-minded professional to move in.

Double bedroom: part furnished including a bed, a mattress, a desk, a chest of drawers, built-in storage (in the two alcoves) and a full length mirror.

Rent: £975 per month. Bills normally come to about £125 per month.

The house is set over three floors, with a large modern kitchen and living room (with an open fire), two bathrooms (1 bathroom and 1 shower room, both with toilet), a utility room with separate washer and dryer and a very large garden with patio. We get bluebells at the back in the spring, and have a hammock for the oak tree in the summer!

The girls are kind, fun, busy professionals, getting on really well as a house (we love a movie night or a pub trip) but with their own lives too. We'd like someone looking for a home, not just a room to rent. We'd like someone who can slot in with our pace of life whilst keeping the house clean and tidy. We pay for a cleaner fortnightly to help keep on top of the communal areas. The current housemates each WFH 2 days a week and are in the office 3 days a week.

In terms of pets, we should mention that the room is not suitable for anyone with a cat, as a couple of the girls are allergic.

We’re close to lots of great pubs and restaurants in Camberwell and Peckham, and three big parks. An 8 minute walk to Denmark Hill station (overground and London Overground) and King's College Hospital. It’s only a short bus ride to Oval, Vauxhall, Elephant & Castle or Brixton - or an easy walk to Peckham, East Dulwich and Brixton.

If you have a car, you can get an annual permit from Southwark Council easily.
