Looking for a flatmate for this double room in Camberwell (Loughborough Junction). Please note this room is currently unfurnished, but I can furnish it before the move-in date if required. The rest of the flat will be furnished.
The room is in a second (top) floor flat of a Victorian building on Coldharbour Lane. Ideally located with Brixton to the west, Camberwell Green to the east and Herne Hill/ Brockwell Park to the south. Lots of nice independent pubs and restaurants around as well as supermarkets, gyms, bouldering/ leisure centres, gig venues, cinemas, you name it. King’s College Hospital is also nearby for any medics. Shared areas include the living room, kitchen/ dining room and bathroom. Great Zone 2 transport links a short walk away with Loughborough Junction station (5 minutes), Denmark Hill station (15 minutes) and Brixton (Victoria Line) (15 minutes) plus lots of local buses.
Will be sharing with just me and I am only looking for one other person to share the flat with so please no couples. I’m looking for someone who is a professional (no students) who is tidy, respectful and friendly. I’m a surveyor who works from home around half the time, I’m into seeing live music, cooking and keeping active (currently into volleyball, cycling and swimming).
The rent for the room is £850 per month plus bills (bills should come to around £125-140 pcm each). Deposit is one month rent and I will need proof of employment and right to rent check. Gas boiler with radiators and low energy lighting throughout. The council tax band is C.
