Bright and Airy Double Room near Camberwell

Hi! We're George and Rae. Looking for a flatmate to join our gorgeous terraced house in Loughborough Junction, close to Camberwell. We've been here three years together with our friend who is now moving out to live with her boyfriend, so want someone who can slot right into what feels more like a home than a houseshare.

An airy double bedroom with plenty of natural light (two windows), ample storage (large wardrobe & chest of drawers), and WFH capability (desk)

THE HOUSE
The house itself is a 3 bed terraced, with a separate kitchen and living room. We've got a little yard garden out the back which we love hosting dinner parties in in the summer.

LOCATION
Ruskin park is just down the road, and we're a stones throw from Brixton, Camberwell and Herne Hill where you'll find Lidl, Morrisons and M&S. A 24-hour NISA and several independent coffee shops, are just round the corner.

GEORGE AND RAE (THE HOUSEMATES)
We're both friends from uni, where we met up in Edinburgh. Rae is a researcher in the Civil Service and George is an actor. We're both non-binary, so would like someone who's queer, or loves the queers. We both regularly WFH, with George occasionally needing to yell lines for Eastenders self tapes on a Tuesday afternoon.

We love hanging out with our friends who live in the area and beyond, either in pubs, parks, local restaurants or in our house or theirs. We enjoy an occasional night out. Rae loves running, seeing friends and going to queer events. George likes to flounce about the house (and outside the house) and tends to have a new hobby every six months. Currently they're chess and gardening. We've got a weekly cleaning rota and would love someone clean and tidy. Ultimately looking for someone who's sociable and up for hanging out, but also easy going and happy to do their own thing.
