Hi! I’m James, a professional songwriter and music producer, and I’m looking for a lovely housemate for 6 months to share my gorgeous flat in the heart of Camberwell.

The flat is a really beautiful space, with parquet flooring throughout, a spacious open-plan living area, a kitchen island and lots of character. It’s a proper home rather than just somewhere to rent, and I’m looking for someone who feels the same way about where they live.

The spare room is currently set up as a music studio, but I’ll be clearing it completely for the right person. I’m happy to provide a bed or leave it unfurnished, depending on what you need. It is a decent sized double though not enormous which is reflected in the price

If you don't know Camberwell it's a fantastic spot with lots of great pubs, cafes, restaurants and a real sense of community. It's very easy to get around (oxford circus takes just 30 minutes) We're also a stones throw from Peckham and Brixton which is ideal

About the housemate:
As it’s just the two of us, getting along is really important to me. I’d love to find someone friendly, relaxed and considerate - someone who enjoys having a chat or perhaps sharing the odd pint, but who also appreciates having their own space.

I work from home, so ideally I’m looking for someone who works full-time from an office or is out and about during the day. I think having a bit of separation during the working week makes sharing a home much more comfortable for both of us.

Most importantly, I’d like this to feel like a home for whoever moves in, rather than simply a room in a flat. Even if it is a relatively short space of time.

Bills are not included will be another £200 for gas, electric, water, council tax (it is council tax band C) and wifi (also includes a few additional perks of netflix, amazon prime, now tv)
