The flat
Large modern 3-bedroomed flat over two floors. The bedrooms are upstairs; the shared space is downstairs. Well-equipped kitchen with bathroom situated off it. A key benefit is a larger than normal living room that has plenty of space for 3 people to share quite comfortably when everyone is around. It has 3 sofas and a dining table.

The people
We're two professional men, both early 40s, friendly and sociable, pretty relaxed. We have our own social circles, but often spend time together in the evenings after work.

The costs
It's £600 per month, with one month's deposit. We share all the bills - electricity, council tax, and broadband - which comes to about £95 per month. We also share costs of household supplies and some cooking ingredients, plus the TV licence fee each year (about £50 each).
