I’m very sad to be leaving the best houseshare after the best few years in Camden. Regarding location & value, I can honestly say you will not find anything better!

You will be living with 4 other working professionals, 1 Irish male (working in construction) & 3 females (working in hospitality , fashion & travel) and I (working in hospitality am moving out and moving back to Ireland . Everyone in the house is respectful, relaxed and super-friendly, with their own social circles, but also enjoy each other's company (film nights, cooking, occasional pub trips). We’re looking for another like-minded, easy-going professional after a place to call home.

The room itself is a grand size with a double bed, desk and two double built-in wardrobes . The available room was repainted a couple of years back, and the entire house has recently had new paint and carpets fitted. The house is a little rough around the edges, but this is the trade-off we take for having below-market rent! If things do break, the landlord does not hesitate to replace (new washing machine and boiler in the last year).

The house is set over 4 floors of a townhouse, on a road set just behind the high street – this means you have all the shops, pub and restaurants on your doorstop but are away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the main road/tourists. The tube station (2 mins), markets (5 mins), Regent’s Park (10 mins) and Oxford Circus (30 mins) are all easy to get to by foot. There is also a bus stop nearby, e-bike/scooters opposite the house, and Camden Road Overground (handy for tube strikes!) is under 10 minutes away.

There are 5 double bedrooms in the house, 1 main bathroom, 1 additional toilet/shower-room (so no queuing!), and a downstairs loo/washing machine room. There is also an additional small bedroom/storage room which we keep free for washing/occasional guests. Large kitchen/living area and a small outside area.

Rent for the room is £664 . Bills come to 150pcm (superfast WiFi, Sky TV incl. sports, cleaner every other week, energy, water and council tax).

I am looking to move out at the end of July . The contract runs until September but just renews each year. The letting agent will conduct referencing and affordability checks (full-time, permanent employment) prior to moving in.
