Description
Hi all :)
I am sadly leaving my room in a nice duplex flat near Camden Market! 🌞 Looking for someone to take over for December ideally. Holding viewings from the 18th of November.
Looking for professionals, no students sorry (because council tax)
Room - small double, with lots of natural bright sunlight through the morning and afternoon. Built in wardrobe which is great or storage.
Accessibility: 7 stairs from street to front door and ground floor of flat. 13 stairs to first floor (bedroom and bathrooms)
The flat has a big living room, a big kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher, and a separate toilet on the ground floor and bathroom on the first floor, where all the bedrooms are. There's also a patio with a table and chairs out the back. The windows are double glazed so the flat is nice and warm in winter.
The area is great; walking distance to Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill, Regents Park and Camden Market, and there are loads of lovely pubs, restaurants and cafes close by. It's about a 5min walk to Chalk Farm station (Northern Line) and 7min walk to Kentish Town West (Overground (Mildmay line)) and tonnes of buses.
You’d be living with 3 other flatmates:
Bridget, she/her, 26: Bridget is a civil servant and loves nature and people. You will often find her bringing back foraged items and fermenting things in the kitchen. Always up for a chat or a chill outside
Mila (she/her), 21, : currently studying textile design and working part time in a cinema. Mila slays the vegan bakes for the house, and enjoys going to movies, gigs and exhibitions. Loves gnomes & mr blobby
Irene (she/her), 26 (Spanish): Irene works in the environmental sector and has been in the flat the longest. She loves travelling and is not long back from a big trip in Asia, and on the weekends likes going out with friends.
The mood of the flat is relaxed and homely, not the place to frequent afters. We enjoy chatting over tea and cooking, trips to the cinema and baking together. We are looking for someone who values being friends with their flatmates and who is committed to keeping the shared spaces beautiful & clean and priorities open communication ♥️
Bills:
Rent : £750 per month -
Deposit: £675, *deposit protection scheme
Bills (electricity, gas, water, wifi and council tax) : Approx 100 per month
The room: furnished with a new double bed (bought last June), small desk and a bookshelf.
