An intelligent, educated and ‘with it’ older lady with some memory loss, and good mobility for her age is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a mix of up to 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home with simple tech/IT, shopping (especially heavier items), simple DIY such as changing lightbulbs, a little help in the garden, plus ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed. Occasional cooking may be appreciated too.

The accommodation on offer is a spacious, furnished double bedroom with ample storage, and its own living space, shower room and kitchenette, and a door opening onto a patio, within the lady’s home.

The property is in an excellent location just 10 minutes’ walk from Belsize Park, Swiss Cottage and Hampstead Heath stations and lose to many bus routes.

The lady likes to be as independent as possible and enjoys cooking for herself. She reads the Guardian, keeps up with the news, enjoys art exhibitions and Suduko, and her family.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests. Good, clear communication is important (eg about when available to help) and must be someone who is happy to lend a hand as needed.
