Double room in sociable Camden flat (NW1)

We’re looking for a third flatmate to join us in our 3-bedroom flat in Camden!

Eike and I are both moving into the flat ourselves on 1 September, so it’ll be a completely new flatshare that we can shape together from the beginning :)

The flat is on Camden Street, NW1, in a really convenient location. It’s around 5 minutes from Camden Town station, 7 minutes from Mornington Crescent and roughly a 15-minute walk from King’s Cross.

It’s a furnished 3-bed flat spread across two levels, so it actually feels a bit more like a house than a typical flat. It has three double bedrooms, a separate living room, kitchen and bathroom, as well as a balcony. We’d love to make the whole place even cozier once we move in and are already looking forward to using the balcony for BBQs, drinks or just hanging out in summer.

The room will be around £1,100 pcm excluding bills. Including bills, we expect the total to be no more than around £1,250 pcm.
The flat is Council Tax Band D, and we’re currently budgeting around £460/month in total bills for the whole flat, including Council Tax. Depending on whether you’re working or a full-time student, we’d be very happy to discuss a fair way of splitting the Council Tax together.

You’d be living with Hannah (26) and Eike (29), both from Germany.
Hannah has just finished medical school and is moving to London for a Master’s in Health Data Science at LSHTM.
She’s usually happiest when she’s doing something active, whether that’s running, cycling, CrossFit or hiking. She also really loves cooking and baking, so there’s a good chance there’ll be something homemade around the flat every now and then :)
Eike has a PhD in Quantitative Finance and is moving to London for a permanent job in the City. He’s also into running, loves board games, plays guitar and has done Latin and ballroom dancing for years. He enjoys cooking and baking too :)

We’re both really looking forward to making the flat feel like an actual home. For us, that means knowing the people you live with rather than just passing each other in the hallway. We’d love to find someone who also wants to make the place cosy together and is up for cooking together, having a drink, going out and exploring London, or just hanging out after work. At the same time, we both have our own lives and routines and completely understand when someone just wants their own space.

We’re both clean, considerate and have plenty of experience living in shared flats.
