Hello future flatmate.

Looking for a double, en-suite bedroom in a two bed/bath apartment, with direct transport to both, Canary Wharf and the centre? Look no more. The room is located in a gated, recent development, mere seconds from the Canada Water station (zone 2) on the Jubilee line and Overground. As a resident you will enjoy a selection of modern amenities, e. g. 24/7 concierge & security, gym, and a communal garden with a water feature. The rent is £1,000 per month + c. £180 bills (council tax, water, electricity, energy, broadband; amount s TBC as all is currently going up). Please note, PROFESSIONALS PREFERRED.

The Flat:
The apartment is bright and spacious and has been furnished throughout to a very high living standard. The double bedroom benefits from large built-in wardrobes, with plenty of storage space, office desk with chair, and a large, private balcony.
The en-suite bathroom consists of a sink, large mirror with storage and a shower.

Open kitchen and living room are shared. The sleek fitted kitchen comes equipped with a built in Microwave, Oven/hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of cupboard space. View on Canary Wharf and City of London are cherries on the top.
The living area consists of a couch, coffee table, big flat TV screen (no TV license but great for watching movies on a bigger screen), additional storage space and the second balcony. Four large floor to ceiling windows allow for lots of light to come in.

The storage cupboards in the hallway feature a washer/dryer and some extra space for cleaning products and suitcases.

The Area:
The area is mainly residential with multiple businesses within a short walking distance. A small Sainsbury’s is located just next to the tube entrance – very convenient for quick groceries. Surrey Quays shopping centre is a 5 min walk, with Tesco for main grocery shopping. Additional services, e. g. Royal Mail, restaurants, hairdressers are all located around the Surrey Quays station – 10 min walk from the flat.

I particularly appreciate the proximity of two decently-sized parks for strolls/jogging and Thames pathway (5 min from the flat) leading along the Thames towards Tower Bridge.

About Me:
I am a 29 year old female professional, working in financial services in Canary Wharf. I am currently working 3 days per week from the office and the remaining 2 days from home. I am clean and tidy, and looking for someone who will treat this place as a cozy home. On the weekends I do Barry's, hang out with friends and relax.
Given my current hybrid working arrangements, I am working from the kitchen till late night hours, and ideally am looking for someone with equally long & busy working hours during the week to maintain the working dynamics within the apartment.
