We have a lovely double room available in a lovely four bedroom house in Canada Water from 2 March 2026.

The room is facing the garden and is on the second floor of the house.

One of the housemates is moving out to live with a friend. The housemates are a lovely group of young professionals (aged 25-32) working in technology and the civil service from a wonderful mix of international and British backgrounds.

Location-wise, the house is short walk from Canada Water tube station, and Surrey Quays Overground, and there are plenty of 24 hour buses (Canada Water is one of the best-served areas in terms of transportation in London). The area has undergone significant development in recent years, and there is an abundance of new amenities.

For groceries and food shopping, there's a Tesco Extra also within a five minute walk. An ecological park in Russia Dock Woodland is around the corner from the house. Surrey Docks Farm is a stone's throw away.

The house also has a shared living room with a 40" TV, coffee table, large corner sofa and dining table. There are two bathrooms, which are each shared by two people, and contain the usual fixtures and fittings (one has a modern design bath tub and the other has a shower cubicle).

Gas central heating and combi boiler with good water pressure. There's also a fully equipped kitchen with gas hobs, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge, freezer and ample storage.

Around the back of the house, there is a sizeable garden for barbeques and bicycle parking. There's also a shared parking space for the house (which is unused at the moment). The front of the house is facing Greenland Dock with pretty nice views, and it's right next to the MobyD pub.

Servicing-wise around the house, if anything gets broken, it usually gets fixed within a day or two - it's extremely important for us to keep the housemates happy, and there's nothing worse than not having the basic essentials in working order, e. g. hot water, washing machine, etc. An excellent weekly cleaner comes, too, and the cost of this is included in the rent.

Unlimited superfast optic fibre broadband is included. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, bedside table, large built-in wardrobe, desk and chair. We are fairly flexible on furniture: happy to purchase new pieces, or remove an item or two.

The rent is £236 per week or £1,025 per month, with all bills included. Shorter term tenancies can be considered at higher rent.
