Description
Hi! I'm Sojung from South Korea.
I’ll be travelling abroad for work, so I’m looking for someone to sublet my room short-term from 19 Feb to the end of March (possibly up to April) while I’m away.
This is ideal for someone newly arriving in London who needs a comfortable temporary place before finding a long-term flat.
1. Available from
19 Feb – End of March 2026 (possibly up to April)
2. Location / Transport
- (Zone 2) Canada Water (6 min walk from the station)
- Jubilee Line / London Overground / multiple bus routes
- Central London within 15 mins by tube (Bond Street approx. 15 mins)
- Canary Wharf: 1 stop / around 5 mins
- The flat is located within a residential complex with multiple security access points (main gate, building entrance, flat entrance, and individual room key).
- Nearby:
Sainsbury’s right next to the station
Tesco supermarket around 15 mins walk
Cafés and a library nearby
- Great for runners: you can jog along the Thames to Tower Bridge (around 30 mins one way).
3. Flat / Room Details
- Spacious single room with en-suite bathroom
- Private bathroom inside the room (shower + bathtub)
- Great water pressure
- Quiet flat with good sound insulation
- Calm neighbourhood
- Flatmates: 2 working professionals in their late 20s (1 American female, 1 French male)
Both are quiet, clean, and respectful.
4. Facilities
- Shared: Kitchen, fridge, washing machine, microwave, induction hob, oven, toaster, WiFi included
- In the room:
Built-in wardrobe/storage, desk, chair, plenty of space (Optional use of my hairdryer, iron, and kettle)
5. Rent
- £200 per week
- £800 for the full month
- £100 key deposit (fully refundable when keys are returned)
(Current rent is around £1,200 + bills, so this is significantly discounted.)
6. Why is it cheaper than usual?
- Some of my belongings will remain in the room (I will minimise them as much as possible so you have enough space).
- There is one special condition, please read below.
*Important Note (Fox care Requirement)
Several local foxes (including a sick one) occasionally visit the backyard.
While I’m away, I’m looking for someone who can help 2–3 times per week with:
✅ Refilling the water bowl
✅ Putting out a few eggs and a small amount of dog food
I’ll set up the feeder and water station in the backyard in advance, and I’ll also provide the eggs and dog food, so you’ll only need to refill/replace them. (No direct contact required.)
7. Looking for someone who is:
- Clean, respectful, and responsible
- Comfortable helping with the fox care
- Looking for a short-term stay in London
- Prefers a quiet and safe environment
- Needs easy access to Central London / Canary Wharf
Please send me a message if interested.
