Description
Hi, I’m leaving my beautiful house and am looking to find a housemate to replace me. The rent is £950 bills not included. We’re located in Crossharbour and a very short walk the DLR (5 mins), the Canary Wharf Jubilee Line (12 mins) and Elizabeth line stations (15 mins).
About the house:
A large four-bed Victorian house with a fully furnished large living room, kitchen and bathroom. Also has a nice sized garden, we have a BBQ for summer!
The room itself is enormous, and has an en-suite and plenty of storage space (see pics). We have a desk too if you wish to work from home.
The house has three floors, with the room on the third floor, so is not wheelchair accessible.
Location:
Situated in E14, Docklands, East London, the house is 12 mins walk from Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station, 15 mins from Elizabeth Line (direct to Central… and Soho), and two nearer DLR stations within 5 mins walk connecting to Bank/Greenwich.
It’s a very lovely and safe neighbourhood with lots of shops, cafes, and gyms nearby, as well as everything nearby Canary Wharf has to offer.
Housemates
You’ll be living with three of us - Matthew 32, a Fashion Designer, Charlie 25, a Data Scientist, and Alex 28, who's from Valencia and works in events. The house has a nice social vibe, but everyone has their own lives too.
Contract
Price: £950 monthly (bills are around £80 at the moment, but were close to £110 in the winter) with a £923 deposit.
You’ll be taking my place in a contract ending in mid-September 2024, but of course can be renewed after, or you can replace yourself if you choose to end early. But ideally looking for long-term tenant.
The letting agency requires a minimum amount of income a month and checks references for full-time employment, unfortunately they won’t accept benefits or students.
