One of my flatmates is planning to move out when our lease expires and we are looking for somebody to replace him in our 3 bedroom apartment in Canary Wharf. The room is a very large, spacious ensuite (larger than most in London), we have a very large living room, modern kitchen, large private balcony with outside furniture, communal residents rooftop garden, residents gym, 24 hour concierge and all amenities are nearby (Tesco 5 minutes, Blackwall DLR 7 minutes, Jubilee and Elizabeth line 12-15 minutes, takeaways 5 minutes, etc.).
Our lease is ending on 14 January 2026 and we are currently looking to renew it but the flatmate from the potentially available room doesn't want to renew hence we are looking for a replacement. We have lived here for 2 years and love the place hence we don't want to leave. The other flatmates will be myself and another guy, both of us are Chartered Accountants. We work a mixed pattern, from the office and home. We are respectful, clean, chilled guys that are really easy to get along with. I'm into gym so you will rarely see me in the evenings and the other guy is into football. We also work long hours so we hardly get in each others way but we do enjoy the occasional chat and social drink over weekends.
Our landlord is Dexters (they are quite good with resolving property issues, maintenance, etc.) and we are currently negotiating the lease renewal. The rental for your room will be around £1,600 (it is expensive but you paying for a very modern, top notch apartment with plenty perks).
