Description
Hello! We are looking for a third housemate for our friendly 3 bed houseshare in Canning Town.
The house is located 5 minutes walk from Canning Town station (Zone 2/3) which has the Jubilee line and DLR taking you into central London within 15 minutes or Westfield Stratford in 5 minutes! We are also less than 5 minutes walk from Morrisons superstore. Victoria Dock is a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction and is a lovely area to walk around. Keir Hardie park is just round the corner for some green space.
We have a large living room, separate kitchen and modern bathroom with bath and shower. We also have a large garden at the back with a shed, perfect for storing bikes or other items. In the warmer months, it's a lovely private space to relax and unwind and we also enjoy attempting to grow our own veg!
The room itself has recently been repainted and fits a small double bed (which is what the current tenant has at present). There is also fitted shelving to one side which provides ample storage. The current tenant also has a large chest of drawers which fits easily. It's a light and cosy room, and great value especially given the excellent location. It will be unfurnished.
The other tenants are super friendly young professionals and enjoy relaxing in the evenings with a glass of wine whilst watching TV together. We are social but not party animals and would look for a similar housemate. We love exploring London together and finding new spots for brunch/drinks!
Council tax: Newham Band C (currently £40.33 pp/month)
Bills: Not included (currently around £70pp/month, including broadband)
Parking: On-street parking available, permit required
We are looking for a tidy, friendly person to join us, someone who will pay their rent on time and treat the house as their home :)
