Description

My flatmate has decided to move out now that she works abroad for the majority of the year, so I am looking for someone to fill the master bedroom in our lovely 2 bed flat!

The flat is super cosy, comfortable and warm (we rarely have to turn the heating on). Featuring carpeted bedrooms, a large kitchen/living room, utility closet with washer/dryer and balcony - plenty of space for two people. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, build in microwave and oven, hob and dishwasher. The building is a (fairly) new build with the complex being accessible via a fob key. It's a 5 minute walk to Canning Town station serving the jubilee and DLR lines, making it super easy to get about. There are plenty of shops, cafes and gyms in the area and Deliveroo options are also excellent!

The room available is the master ensuite bedroom. It comes with a bed, mattress, two bedside tables, a large built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers (which my flatmate currently has sat within the wardrobe). The window is a tilt and turn window, which allows a really nice breeze to come through during the summer.

My flatmate has lived here for a few years now, so some of the living room furniture & furnishings will be going with her when she moves out (sofa, arm chair, table and chairs etc. remain). I can clarify what will still be here during viewings, but I'm hoping this will be a nice opportunity to decorate and create a comfortable space together.

About me - I work for a record label in their creative department so naturally love all things music! I usually work 3 days in the office and 2 at home. I love fitness and spend a lot of time at the gym (a few minutes walk from the flat) as well as at pole lessons. I usually prefer spending my time reading/watching a film/listening to music but equally love going for dinner and drinks with friends too. I'm calm and clean and love living in this flat as it feels peaceful and safe.

Who I'm looking for - I would love to find someone that equally enjoys a comfortable space and would be up for watching a film or going for a drink now and again. Cleanliness and peacefulness is super important to me, so I'm hoping to find someone who can fit into the vibe of the flat as it's definitely not a party house! I am veggie, but don't mind if you aren't. Ideally, you wouldn't work from home full time.

Rent is £1,050 due on the 21st every month. Other bills:

Gas and electricity: £75 (a base rate paid with the rent to the building management company - this is expected to cover most of the costs but there are sometimes additional costs when we receive statements every 6 months)
Council tax (Band C): £60.50
Water: £30
Internet (Hyperoptic and super fast!): £30

Approx monthly total: £1,245.50

Those are the basics but please let me know if you have any questions. If you are interested please message me with some information about yourself and the type of home you are looking for. Viewings will be held from 5th - 10th October. I will try come back to everyone where I can.

Thanks!
