Hi! I’m looking for a clean and considerate professional to take the ensuite room in a bright, modern flat in Rathbone East Apartments (Canning Town, Zone 2/3).

I’ve lived here for 1.5 years and absolutely love it — the building, good sound insulation, transport links, and layout are amazing. Sadly, my flatmate is returning to her home country in early Jan 2026. The earliest move-in date is 10 January 2026, so priority goes to someone who can start around then.

It will be treated as a new tenancy contract to be signed with the landlord directly, it can be 6 or 12 months. We will go through standard income / reference checks together. We can either opt for a 5-week rent deposit scheme, or a 1-week non-refundable reposit.

About Me

I’m 28, work in management consulting (long hours, some WFH days).
I’m clean, quiet, respectful, and not into parties — but small gatherings are totally fine with notice. I don’t cook a lot, only once in a while for meal prep, or during weekend or if I’m hosting friends.

I’m a morning person, usually in the kitchen before 9am, even on weekends. The flat has great sound insulation, but if you’re a very light sleeper or not a morning person, just something to keep in mind.

Interests: classical/instrumental music, theatre, reading, sci-fi, dance.
If you’re in a high-stress profession or very career-driven, I think we’ll understand each other well and can be great flatmates.
