Room available in a beautiful, modern house!

Hi there!

We have 1 double room soon to be free in a lovely 3 bedroom house. The house is ideally located between Highbury and Islington (15 min walk) and Dalston Junction (10 min walk). It is also close to Angel and Stoke Newington, and very well connected by public transport with a bus stop in front of the house: Routes 73, 38, 341 and 56.

The house has three floors which makes it feel nice and spacious, as well as quiet! The kitchen is open plan and fully equipped, and opens out to a really sweet terrace which gets a lot of use in the summer months. The living room is used for movie nights or as a guest room for visitors.

You’ll be living with two Australian professional women.

Charmaine works as a liquidator, likes travelling, the gym and gigs. Amanda is an account director at a creative agency, likes Pilates, pints and the beach.

We are looking for a tidy, sociable but respectful person who doesn’t mind doing their own thing but also equally happy to get involved and participate in house activities – whether that’s drinks or watching a movie every now and then. Ideally will also be someone 30 and over, as we’re a fairly chill but mature professional household.

Move-in date will be 1st May, and rent is £850 per month. The deposit is £923 and bills average out at about £200 a month (per person). The house is in council tax band D, Islington. We also have a cleaner come in every two weeks, and share the costs of shared household supplies (e. g. cleaning supplies, toilet paper etc).

We have a fantastic landlord who is very helpful and responsive - both of us have been living here over 3 years now and we love the house. Contract would be for a year, with option to renew each year.
